GUIDED TRIPS WITH MALFOUR OUTFITTERS

All Malfour trips are multi-day experiences. We believe that time is required to pursue the Lord and fish properly, and so we ensure there’s enough to do both. We’re dependent on God to control the things we can’t, things like cooperative fish and weather, or things He might say and do in the hearts of our guests. We pray for favorable fishing and renewed hearts, and then we work diligently, making excellent the things we can control to establish a context and culture for transformation. Guests can expect fine food, comfortable accommodations, and the right balance of structure and flexibility to make the most of their time with Malfour.

ALL TRIPS INCLUDE

LODGING

Three nights of accommodations wonderfully arranged to give our guests an opportunity for maximum comfort and rest.

GEAR

Guests are always welcome to bring their own gear and tackle, but Malfour is ready to provide the latest gear and tech the fishing industry has to offer as part of the package.

MEALS

We pride ourselves on the food we serve, and are committed to making quality meals in generous portions so that no guest leaves Malfour hungry.

MEMORIES

We say that “Malfour is measured in memories,” and we mean it. We’re dedicated to the details of guest experience and work hard to ensure their time is one to always remember and never forget.

A BRIEF WORD FROM YOUR GUIDE

Since I was young, I’ve been fascinated with the outdoors, and growing up in a Christian home, there was never any wondering about how things came to be or who put them there. After nearly two decades, now, of fly fishing and the pursuit of so many of God’s creatures in so many of God’s places, there remains no wondering of how those places and things came to be. But there IS an ever increasing wonderment of how good the One who made them might be. My guess is He’s better than we think and better, even still, than we could imagine. Though my knowledge of God is anchored in his Word, my experience of God—one that affirms everything the Scriptures would say to me about Him—is often most felt and profound when I’m out in nature.

As your guide, my desire is to take with open hands my skills and passions for fishing, and to take with closed fists my convictions of God and his revealed truths, and raise them up before the Lord to use them as He would.

By His grace we will fish and fellowship in such a way that our faith in Him is increased.

I’ll see you on the water!
